Custom web applications
Online tools built around how your business actually works.
What it is
When spreadsheets, paper forms and off-the-shelf apps stop fitting, a custom web application can replace them with one system built for your process. It runs in any browser, with secure logins, so your team and your clients can use it from a phone or a computer.
Typical examples are client portals, staff dashboards, booking and ordering systems, quoting tools and internal admin systems. Unlike a website, which presents information, a web application stores data, applies your rules and responds to each user.
In plain English: An online tool built around the way your business works: a portal, dashboard, booking or ordering system, or quoting tool.

How it works
How we deliver it, step by step.
Discovery
We map how your process works today, who uses it and what the system must do.
Design
You approve screen designs before we write code, so there are no surprises.
Build in phases
We build in stages and show you working versions along the way, so you can steer.
Test, train and hand over
We test with real data, train your team and hand the system over, with support afterwards.
Before we start
What we need from you, and what to know.
What we need from you
- A walkthrough of how the work is done today, plus any spreadsheets or forms you use
- The people who will use the system and what each should see
- Someone who can make decisions and give feedback during the build
- Any systems it must connect to, such as payments, email or WhatsApp
Good to know
- Pricing is quoted per project after discovery. Larger systems are planned in phases, so you see value early and keep control of cost.
- Hosting and running costs, and fees from services the system connects to, are explained in your quotation.
- Moving existing data into the new system is scoped and quoted as part of the project.
- We build with security in mind: logins, access levels and encrypted connections. No system is ever perfectly secure, so we also plan backups and ongoing updates.
Common questions
Questions about Custom web applications.
A website shows information to visitors. A web application lets people log in, enter and manage information and get work done, such as tracking jobs, taking orders or approving quotes.
Off-the-shelf tools cost less to start and work well when your process is standard. A custom application makes sense when your process is unusual, when you pay for features you do not use, or when you have outgrown spreadsheets.
You do, once the project is paid in full. The details are set out in your quotation.
